Company Activities For 2023:

Eng. Refaat Abd El Khalek UGDC Chairman & MD presented the company activities and business results for 2023 that summarized as follows:

Production
UGDC continues to achieve its targeted national & economical roles and maintains the positive cooperation to fulfill its contractual obligations to maximize the returns to support the economy.

  • Propane production reached 143 K tons, compared to 108 K tons planned.
  • LPG production reached 78 K tons, compared to 65 K tons planned.
  • Condensates production reached 92 K tons, compared to 80 K tons planned.
  • Total Derivatives production reached 9.91 million tons – since start in 2005, which equals about 112 million BBL.
  • Damietta terminal had received one imported propane cargos with total amount of 12.5 K ton, which were dispatched to EPP facilities at Port Said.

Major activities during first half of 2023:

  • LPG gas import project in Damietta terminal: Damietta terminal successfully received 18 imported LPG cargo in behalf of EGPC with total amount of 601 Ktone, which dispatched to PPC Tanta through new import receiving facility and offloading pumps operated successfully.

The most important carried out works:

  • Coordination and continuous communication with the EGAS, which led to increase the gases available for treatment in UGDC, in order to increase the benefit of the gases available in the national gas network.
  • Through the application of continuous maintenance programs and reducing the downtime, UGDC succeeded to achieve a record Availability (Availability 99%).
