Energy Performance:

  • Applied no cost project for fuel gas optimization practice with significant fuel saving (1.14 MMSCFD), GHG reduction (23 KTA CO2) & savings of approx. $2 MM per annuum. UGDC awarded for this initiative the first place “Best Project” in Eni Italy Call for Ideas 2023.
  • Studied the utilization of sales gas from UGDC as the fuel source for PTB/El-Gamil Gas turbines instead of using rich gases.
  • Awarded the Operational Excellence Award as the 2nd highest impact decarbonization project during the 9th EOGC Nov. 2023; Currently this project is under execution in coordination with EGAS/GASCO/PTB.
