Quality, Occupational Health, Safety and Environment (QHSE‌):

  • From January 2023 to March 2024, UGDC achieved 2.2 million safe working hours without any lost time injuries, continuing their success in safety performance records.
  • The company has been awarded the 2nd Place International Division I Company Safety Award for its excellent 2023 HSE Performance.
  • The company has recently received the ISO 39001 certification for Road Traffic Safety. This certification is a clear indication of the effectiveness of UGDC’s measures towards reducing road traffic incidents to zero.
  • Periodic audits are conducted on the contractors to ensure their commitment to UGDC safety requirements. UGDC also holds the Contractor HSE Forum for 2023.
  • UGDC completed 2478 training hours covering HSE topics, along with safety day campaigns for life-saving rules and process safety fundamentals.

  • UGDC has implemented the Barrier Management Framework to efficiently manage Major Accident Hazards. The company began the process by identifying MAH and completed the Bowtie Analysis to identify Safety Critical Elements and Safety-critical tasks to enhance process safety prevention and mitigation measures.
